Hidden Harvest depends entirely on private funds to operate. Contributions from individuals, foundations businesses, and churches are needed for Hidden Harvest to continue the mission of ending food waste and hunger in our tri-county community.
We Need Your Help
Volunteers for Hidden Harvest are needed when we have fresh produce that needs to be sorted. Volunteers are needed when we host food distributions. Volunteers are needed to help on the 2nd Saturday of May for the Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive. Volunteers are needed and appreciated!
If you want to eliminate hunger, everybody has to be involved. ~ Bono
Hidden Harvest strives to alleviate hunger and end food waste in the Great Lakes Bay Region by providing a safe and coordinated system of rescuing surplus food and redistributing it to feed people in need. Hidden Harvest operates upon the simple premise that good food should not go to waste when so many people are in need in our community.
Beyond the food Hidden Harvest rescues each day, there is always a need for additional non-perishable food items to fight hunger in our community. The soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, and other nonprofit community programs we serve are always reaching out for canned goods. Canned food drives can be a lot of fun.
